Charys Hess is a BA graduate of the University Wisconsin Stevens Point Theater and Dance department. Hess’ choreography has been presented and adjudicated at the American College of Dance Festival. Hess founded the Transcribing Dance Company, a post-modern dance company for professional dancers in June of 2012. TDC has been well received by the Minnesota Fringe Festival and MDAF. TDC performs engaging and innovative work in collaboration with various artists, businesses and individuals. Hess continues to direct, teach, present, and dance with her company to create movement which can be appreciated by the general public, yet set new standards in the art of dance.
